Acrylic Brackets

The two images above are for the acrylic brackets that mounts the steel shaft onto the frame itself. The finger joints on the first piece are there to ensure a snap fit attachment to the second piece. Acrylic glue was applied to the finger joint afterwards. Holes were drilled onto the top bracket and then tapped with a 5-40 tap reamer. We then used set screws on these tapped holes to lock the shaft into place.
