Brackets for the Internal Acrylic Barrier

Using the corner braces that we had remaining, we made a system for holding acrylic on the inside of the frame. The holder consists of two corner braces screwed into the frame back to back separated by approximately 1/16”, which is the thickness of the acrylic that we are using. There are 4 sets of these holders on either side of the game arena, with 2 sets on each side of the frame, which totals to 8 total sets. This setup allows us to slide the acrylic in and out whenever we want without having to unscrew anything.

The gap between the two corner brackets is about 3 1/4” away from the smaller wall of the frame. The netting and the ping pong balls used for defense will be held in this area. The acrylic barrier will keep these components contained inside.
